6 MONTHS OLD!!

Dear Zoe- Today you are 6 months old.  Half of a year!  I can't believe it.  You are such a big girl with such a big personality!  This past month,

• You have become quite mobile.  You are steamrolling your way over to anything that you get your eyes on that you want.  Mostly it is the remote and my phone. 
• You think Dad is the funniest guy in the world...which he is.  No one can make you laugh like Dad can.
• You officially have your first tooth.  It took a while for it to come in, and you weren't too happy about it, but now our little girl is a snaggletooth!
• You can sit up, sort of.  If there is something that you are interested in looking at, you will sit unassisted for a few minutes, but if there is something that you want, you topple right over.
• You love the computer. Everytime we are on it, you want to get on and write an email to your friends.

Mommy's Little Wiggleworm!

Dear Zoe- Today was your first day at your Wiggleworms class.  You were the youngest baby in the class, but you participated as much as you could.  You loved watching all the other babies crawl on the floor, and it even inspired you to scoot on your belly a bit. 

You LOVED the guitar that the teacher was playing.  Everytime she walked by us, you reached out and tried to play.  You loved the music that she played.  We may have to put you in guitar lessons once you tune up your motor skills!

You were so in awe of everything that was going on in class today that you even sat up ALL. BY. YOURSELF!!!  I wasn't holding you up at all!  AND I found your very first tooth getting ready to pop up anyday now...you are getting SO big!

Zoe's First Easter

Dear Zoe, Happy Easter Baby Girl!  You woke up this morning to find that the Easter Bunny came and brought you an Easter Basket.  You were very excited to see what was inside!

Dear Zoe, What a fun weekend we are having! You are becoming quite the daddy's girl. No one can make you laugh like your dad can. And when he comes in the room, you absolutely light up.

Today, dad took us to one of our favorite lunch spots in the city - Jerry's. Yum!

Easter with Grandma!

Dear Zoe, Yesterday, Grandma came over and brought you an Easter basket from her and G-Diddy.  You loved it!  You got a babydoll named Zoe, a few books, some pacifiers, cute outfits and some pink sandals!  Grandma sure does spoil you!  Then you got to spend the day with her while mom when out to get her hair done.

The Easter Bunny

Dear Zoe, you are getting a visitor this weekend- the Easter Bunny! We went to see him at the mall, but you weren't quite sure what to make of him.

Early Riser

Dear Zoe - You are definitely a morning person, just like your Dad.  You consistently wake up between 6 and 7 am each day, and as much as I would love to get just a little more sleep, it is so fun to see your smiling face in the morning.  You are always in such a good mood when you wake up!  You usually don't even cry, you just babble to your butterflies until I come and get you.

Trip Downtown

Dear Zoe - Today we took a trip on the train downtown to take Dad out to lunch (technically, he took us out, tomato tomaato).  You loved the train!  Everytime the conductor announced the next stop, you looked all over trying to find out where the voice was coming from.  And as usual, you charmed everyone around us with your gorgeous smile. 

On the way back home, we took the el instead of the train, but you clearly weren't that impressed-

Dear Zoe- You are grabbing for EVERYthing these days!  It is fun to watch you try and figure out what things do even though inevitably, you end up putting everthing in our mouth.  Today, you were hanging out in bed and discovered the remote.

Mommy's Little Sleep Terrorist

Dear Zoe - Where has my good little sleeper gone?  For the past week or two, you have given up on sleeping through the night- waking up anywhere from 2 to 8 times!  Yep, 8 times last night, little girl.  Most times, you just wake us up because you are tossing and turning in your sleep.  I hope your restless nights become more peaceful soon, baby girl. 

This is a nice bed...more comfy than my crib!
