Dear Zoe, It took a while, but you are finally enjoying eating real food!  I knew you'd get the hang of it, but we had to do it at your pace.  Among your favorites- applesauce, yogurt, peaches, and raspberries.  You still haven't gotten the taste for any veggies, but I sometimes sneak them in with your applesauce.   Quite a change than where we were a few months ago...http://fromatozoe-babygirl.blogspot.com/2011/05/solid-foodtake-2.html

Dear Zoe, Yesterday we threw Grandma a surprise party for her 60th birthday.  She had NO idea!  Grandpa and I have been planning for weeks and it was a sucess!!  We had it at Joanie's house and all of her favorite people were there to help celebrate.

Dear Zoe, you have turned into quite the mommy's girl lately! If I am in the room, you want all of my attention. You want me to feed you, hold you and play with you. I know it's just a phase, but I hope you always like me this much!!

Our Little Drama Queen

Dear Zoe, Lately, you have been expressing your feelings a lot.  When you are happy, you are smiley and wave your arms up and down, like you are a little bird.  And when you are unhappy or don't get your way, boy do you let us know. 

Yesterday, you wanted everything that mom had.  My keys, my phone, my water...and when I took something away from you...you yelled, flapped your little wings and melted down.  Pretty sure this is the start of temper tantrums.  But you are SO cute when you do them, I can't help but laugh...

Hottest Day of Your Life (so far...)

Dear Zoe - Today it was 95 degrees, the hottest day of your little life.  We went to Wiggleworms and to Starbucks with some friends and then have been staying in the nice air conditioning for the rest of the day...so much for springtime!
