Happy Birthday Zoe Ryan Teich!

Our baby girl is here! After a very long day (labor started at 5am on Oct 29th), Zoe has made her debut. She came in weighing 7lbs 13 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She had a bit of traumatic childbirth (birth story to come later), but she is perfectly healthy.

Grandma and Grandpa (G Diddy?) and her uncle Danny came to visit her right after she was born, and then we went up to our after delivery room for some much needed rest.

She has been wonderful sleeping and eating and mom and dad have been having a fun time getting to know her. Her godmother, Jenny and Mikey came to meet her for the first time and we had our first photoshoot.

We go home tomorrow, so we have one more night here. Good night, sweet girl!

The Nursery is done!

Dear Zoe - Your nursery is all done, ready for you to come home! Can't wait for you to see it, I think you will like it.

Dear Zoe- You are one week past due! You must be very comfortable because you don't want to come out to meet us. We are checking in to the hospital tomorrow morning to induce labor, so as of now, October 29th will be your birthday!

Happy early birthday, sweet girl. We are very excited to meet you.

Officially Past Due

Dear Zoe - Today is October 22, one day past your due date! Dad and I are both very exciting to meet you (and so are a lot of other people!) I know that someday this time will seem like it flew by, but right now, everyday feels like an eternity.

You can take your time though. I know it will be worth it. I cannot wait to see your sweet face.

Dear Zoe - Some of my good friends from Paper Source threw me a nice shower for you! You got all sorts of cute outfits, books, decorations for your nursery and things that I didn't even know that you needed!

You are going to be a very loved little girl, everyone can't wait to meet you!!

Baby Shower!

This weekend was your first baby shower! It was out at Grandma's house. So many people were there to shower you with gifts - aunts, cousins, friends. I am overwhelmed by the amount of things that you got.

These are the invitations that Grandma and your aunt Mary put together, aren't they cute? Mary did a great job organizing - there was a cupcake tower (yum) a diaper cake (for decoration of course!) and lots of delicious food. She even had a raffle and to enter, all the guests brought a pack of diapers! What a great idea!

We got SO many presents! You got your carseat, stroller, pack and play, tub, lots of toys and books, and oh so many clothes! You are going to be a very well dressed baby girl. I can't wait to dress you up in all of your outfits, you are going to be so cute!
